WANTED! iPad UI designer, with added awesomesauce
We’re really excited about the iPad. The world is slowly accepting that the future of printed media is digital, and if that’s the case then we won’t want to consume information from a mobile phone screen forever, in the same way that the smartphone liberated us from our desktops and laptops.
At the moment, we have a further two iPhone apps in the pipeline, and we’re working once more with talented local programmer Alex Reid on a brand new Android application. We’ve also turned our attention to the iPad, and have already started work on a new project:
– it’s an application that is unlike anything else available in the App Store at the moment
– it plays to the strengths of the iPad – a leisure device that’ll be used in different environments, with a larger screen that provides a new user experience and encourages data input
As always, the user experience will be important, but in this case it may make or break the app’s success. That’s why we’re putting the call out for a designer with experience of designing for the iPhone (if you don’t have loads of iPhone design experience but are familiar with apps and the like, we’re still interested). We need somebody who can pick up our user experiences and creative brief and turn them into nothing short of brilliance with added awesomesauce for a 9.7 inch screen.
If that’s you, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 25th February. If that’s not you, but you know who it is, ask them to get in touch instead. P
